It’s an ode to rural life with no aspirations for anything more than what they have right now, sung beautifully by Sunidhi Chauhan. This song will make you want to travel through the fields of North India, ride pillion on a motorbike, and dance to the beat of Bollywood. The music video of "Malhari" takes us back to a time when being in love was easy. It tells the story of a young girl, who falls in love with a boy from another village. The video is set in an old haveli-like building that's been converted into a school. The song starts with two girls dancing to an old gramophone while their boyfriends rock out on guitars and drums in the background, there's a jugalbarter going on inside while everyone else is enjoying this guitar jam session outside. It's a glimpse into the freedom of their lives. The lyrics are very poetic and they go on to describe how everything changes with time, when love turns into passion. The girls are in their early teens but are about to turn into women when they sing this song. The music is composed by Sandeep Chowta and Kalyanji-Anandji while the lyrics have been penned down by Himanshu Dhodekar. Malhari is a very popular song. Malhari debuted at the number 2 spot in the Radio Mirchi Top 20 of 2016. The song was also listed in radio's top charting songs of the year 2016. Malhari was also performed at various private parties, media events and other functions by Akshara Gowda. The same tune was performed on her debut album 'Rehna Tha Unplugged', back in 2015. The song is composed by Sandeep Chowta and Kalyanji-Anandji with lyrics written by Himanshu Dhodekar. The song sparked a debate on the issue of the portrayal of women in Bollywood. The lyrics struck a chord with many women for whom the song encapsulates their personal journey from childhood to womanhood. Sunidhi Chauhan received several requests from listeners asking her to sing this song live on TV.https://www.facebook.com/malhariofficial/videos/vb.388800774164911/1154859509035544/?type=2&theater https://www.ndtv. cfa1e77820
